Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Initially regarded with reverence, in the centuries that followed its creation the Hereford World Map fell into disuse. At one point perhaps during the Civil War - it was stored under the floor of the cathedrals Audley Chapel. Worse was to follow. In the 1780s the wings of the triptych were destroyed or lost...
I was born in San Jose, California in 1953. In 1954 we moved to the suburbs of Detroit Michigan. We moved again to the suburbs of Chicago in 1956. Due to my Dad’s employment, we moved to Pennsylvania in 1959, so I have lived Penna. in since then. I grew up on a small farm in Pennsylvania and was inducted into the National Honor Society in high school. I was on the Dean's List a few times and earned my degrees in biology and natural science at Muhlenberg College, a small liberal arts college in Allentown PA in the mid 70s. The art history course I took in my senior year at Muhlenberg College and did extremely well in, was very educational, and I enjoyed it. I went on to earn my doctorate in Philadelphia in the late 70s. I...
